FACE-TO-FACE AND ONLINE WORKSHOP

The third edition of the International Workshop Accounting and Taxation (IWAT2024) will be held on 12th April 2024 at ISAG – European Business School in partnership with the Consuelo Vieira da Costa Foundation’s Research Centre in Business Sciences and Tourism (CICET-FCVC).

The previous edition, IWAT2023, is indexed in Google Scholar and EBSCO, through the proceedings book. Given the success of the second edition, IWAT2024 aims to continue discussions on current and relevant topics in the fields of accounting and taxation. This encompasses interconnected and particularly challenging areas in today’s business landscape, such as social and environmental sustainability in financial management, as well as digitalisation in organisations and accounting.

IWAT2024 will enable both face-to-face and virtual participation in the Workshop. Participants are invited to submit articles in Portuguese, Spanish and/or English in two forms: full paper (short paper/full paper) and extended abstract. All articles and abstracts will be subject to a peer review process. The papers accepted and presented at the workshop will be published in the e-book (conference proceedings), which will be made available to event participants. Once the workshop is over, the e-book will be sent to be indexed in Google Scholar, Proquest, EBSCO, SCOPUS (Elsevier) and Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics).

Articles/abstracts/extended abstracts presented at IWAT2024, will have the opportunity to be selected for publication in a special issue of the European Journal of Applied Business and Management. EJABM is currently indexed in the international databases Google Scholar, ICI Copernicus Journals Master List, DRJI, Latindex and REDIB. If invited to publish in this scientific journal, authors are expected to change the paper by at least 50%, including a change of title and abstract. All journal rules and procedures must be followed and there is no guarantee of publication.

We are counting on you!
