Sónia Monteiro, PHD | Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave
Biographical note:
Sónia Monteiro is a coordinator professor in the School of Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Cavado and Ave (IPCA), in Barcelos, Portugal, where she holds the position of president of the technical-scientific council. With over 25 years of experience, she specializes in teaching Financial Accounting and Reporting. She has a PhD in Business sciences from Santiago de Compostela University (2007) and her main research areas are sustainable development and non-financial reporting. Within the Research Center on Accounting and Taxation (CICF), she leads the research group dedicated to accounting and corporate social responsibility and she is also the president of the scientific council of CICF. She is an Ambassador of the Sustainable Development Goals Portugal Alliance- UN Global Compact Network

Biographical note:
Katherine Myznikava is a Ph.D. researcher at FEP, PT, specializing in macroeconomic factors’ impact on cross-border M&A transaction likelihood. Additionally, she’s a senior manager consultant at Capgemini Invent, advising international companies in Munich, Germany, on M&A strategies. With a background in corporate finance, Katie excels in M&A deal advisory and company valuation, helping firms achieve their goals. She advocates for her unique approach to career development through “Katie for Motivating,” balancing Porto Santo island lifestyle with a cosmopolitan career in European’s largest cities.
